This study of nearly 34,000 students from a large urban district reveals how TalkingPoints helped improve high school attendance and reduce suspensions in early and middle grades. Students using TalkingPoints gained the equivalent of three extra weeks of learning time per year and experienced a 43% lower suspension rate than peers.

TalkingPoints & Baltimore County Public Schools Research Summary
A correlational study across all 178 K-12 schools in Baltimore County Public Schools found that higher TalkingPoints usage was associated with a 1.1 percentage point increase in attendance and a 4.8 percentage point drop in chronic absenteeism. Schools with stronger two-way communication and earlier family outreach showed the greatest gains.
