As an immigrant and an NYC public school alum, Rita deeply resonates with TalkingPoints’s mission. Growing up in Brooklyn, Rita went to school with students from a variety backgrounds, countries, and languages, and gained firsthand insight into how important family engagement is to student success. She is thrilled to be supporting immigrant and under-resourced communities and improving access to resources in education.
Rita has a decade of experience leveraging technology to address complex problems and drive meaningful change. She previously worked in HR tech, helping transform hiring to be more equitable, effective, and efficient, and helping individuals realize their career potential. Before transitioning to startups, Rita worked in management consulting at Ernst & Young (EY), advising financial institutions on harnessing AI/ML technologies to drive business innovation. Rita holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Psychology from Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter College.
