Katie began her career teaching high school English in Memphis, which sparked a passion for designing equitable and impactful experiences that allow all students to thrive. She spent the next decade working as a teacher and an instructional coach and partnering with families to foster inclusive classroom communities and create memorable learning experiences for students.
In addition to her time in the classroom, Katie brings experience working in several capacities across the ed tech industry, including sales, customer success, and product design. Katie studied English and Political Science at the University of Notre Dame and later returned for a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She has a deep understanding of the motivations and challenges of teachers and administrators, which will help inform her work designing impactful, user-centric experiences for students and families. Katie is excited to join the TalkingPoints team, and create products and services that will make a difference in the lives of students and families.
