Katie is passionate about educational equity for all students and families, and working towards policy reform to rectify the injustices in the current educational landscape. She has a wide scope of knowledge in non-profit and educational operations, and tactical experience in understanding the needs of educators. As a former administrator, Katie has seen firsthand the tremendous impact that parent engagement has on student outcomes and is happy to be a contributing part of a team focused on increasing that effort.
As the Operations Manager at TalkingPoints, Katie is responsible for ensuring effective high-level systems and processes to ensure our team is logistically sound and able to focus on providing service and innovation for the folks we serve in schools and classrooms. Katie received a Bachelor’s degree in Human & Consumer Science with a minor in Business Administration from Ohio University.
