Katherine has a passion for educational equity and is committed to ensuring all students thrive in school. With well over a decade of fundraising experience, she has served in various leadership positions at national and San Francisco Bay Area nonprofits focused on youth services and public education. Prior to joining TalkingPoints, Katherine was the Director of the Philanthropy Team at KIPP Public Schools Northern California. In 2012, she earned a Master of Social Work degree from Georgia State University with a concentration in community partnerships.
As Director of Philanthropy at TalkingPoints, Katherine partners with funders who share TalkingPoints’ vision of transforming our education system through robust family engagement. As a parent herself, Katherine knows firsthand the important role that families play in the social-emotional and academic well-being of a child.
