Felicia brings decades of teaching experience, extensive technical expertise, and a data-driven approach to improving processes and products to her role at TalkingPoints. She comes from a family of educators covering the full spectrum of ages and currently teaches a college class remotely to students all over the world. Throughout her career, she has taught a wide range of subjects, including programming, robotics, machine design, manufacturing processes, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD). In addition to teaching, Felicia has also worked in technical writing and training, quality assurance and test automation, software development and delivery metrics, value stream mapping and process improvement, data pipeline architecture and CI/CD, and data observability with associated dashboards and alerts. Felicia holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
Growing up with first-generation American friends, Felicia developed a love for various cultures and languages. This passion was further strengthened by formal schooling in foreign languages. She is driven by seeing the impact of education improving the quality of life, particularly for those in underserved communities.
