April has over 20 years of experience in education. She started her career in secondary math and then moved to technology education. Partnering with Pitsco Education, she helped develop curriculum for students in elementary school to engage young learners in math, science, and technology through hands-on lab activities. After moving into leadership, she served as an Assistant Principal, Technology Director, and a Data Analyst prior to leaving K-12 education for the ed tech industry. Prior to joining TalkingPoints, she used her love of numbers and Big Data to provide support and guidance to districts across the country to identify and address achievement gaps and improve student success.
As a member of the Partner Success Team, April is responsible for guiding partners to effectively use the TalkingPoints solution to further improve educator to family communication and help build a sense of community. April earned her Master’s degree in Technology Education and her Educational Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration from Georgia Southern University. April is driven to help others and loves being able to make an impact on her community through her work at TalkingPoints.
