We’re excited to announce the addition of five exceptional leaders to the TalkingPoints Advisory Board, joining our esteemed member, Dr. Karen Mapp. These professionals bring a wealth of expertise in education, research, product innovation, and philanthropy, all of which will help us accelerate our mission to improve student outcomes by fostering transformative partnerships between families and schools. Their guidance will be crucial as we expand and deepen our impact in the communities we serve.

 

Meet our advisors:

Dr. Sharon Contreras, CEO of the Innovation Project, is a renowned public education leader and passionate advocate for children. Her insights will help shape our strategies and ensure that our work meets the evolving needs of educators and families.

Kumar Garg, President of Renaissance Philanthropy, is an expert at the intersection of education and technology. His experience in research, development, and government partnerships will be vital as we continue to innovate and collaborate across sectors.

Greg Gunn, Founder of Lingo Ventures, is an edtech visionary and entrepreneur. His expertise in product innovation and scaling education tech organizations like Amplify will play a key role as we grow and evolve TalkingPoints to better serve educators and families.

Jeff Livingston,  CEO of EdSolutions, brings deep expertise in education innovation and growth strategy. His strategic leadership will help us scale and refine our solutions to have an even greater impact.

Dr. Karen L. Mapp, Professor of Practice at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, is one of the nation’s foremost experts on family engagement. Her ongoing support continues to be instrumental in setting the research-driven standard for excellence in family-school partnerships, and we look forward to continuing to learn from her.

Bob Runcie, CEO of Chiefs for Change, is a recognized education leader within the education leadership community. His experience and strategic insights will strengthen TalkingPoints’ partnerships with district leaders and policymakers, amplifying our impact.
