As a parent, Melissa deeply connects with TalkingPoints’ mission of fostering and ensuring family engagement. Growing up with a single teacher mom in an area with a large immigrant population, Melissa learned early on the importance of parent involvement, particularly for students in historically disenfranchised groups. Melissa loves how TalkingPoints creates easy and seamless communication with students’ families and is thrilled to be part of providing such a vital platform.
Melissa has a varied background, having worked in preclinical research, tech support, and social media management before switching to sales. She is also a photographer and majored in Film and Media Arts at Temple University.
