Kara brings a decade of non-profit, EdTech, and classroom experience to TalkingPoints. She has a deep understanding of the educational landscape and the needs of teachers and administrators. As a Product Marketing Manager, Kara focuses on evolving how TalkingPoints brings products and services to market and works to understand how we might further support those who contribute to student growth.
Kara studied both English and Mass Communications at the University of Iowa and later earned a master’s degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the Relay Graduate School of Education. Kara is dedicated to empowering teachers and schools with the tools they need to drive more equitable and inclusive classrooms. As a former educator, she understands how essential family engagement is to this mission and excited is to make an impact with TalkingPoints.
