Here for you - TalkingPoints resources for Teachers and Families for COVID19 and remote learning
How we can help:
Are you looking to engage and communicate with families in this time of online and remote learning? TalkingPoints is here to support you! We provide a multilingual family engagement platform that helps you to engage with your families, keep connected with your students, and get the most critical information out to your communities. In the coming weeks, we will also be providing free educational resources for you and your families to support your students’ learning at home. It is super easy to get started! We will also be providing extra supports throughout this period.
As a mission-driven non-profit focused on family engagement for underserved, multilingual, diverse communities, we keep TalkingPoints for free for educators. During this time, we are making available our school and district facing platform for free through donations. We believe this is especially critical for those are most likely to be left behind in this time — those with limited accessibility at home, where TalkingPoints is the only method to access learning materials, and English Language Learners. We’re excited to support you in the following ways
1. FREE TalkingPoints for Schools and Districts
Effective March 20th, all schools and districts who are high-need will be able to have free access to TalkingPoints for Schools and Districts. TalkingPoints for Schools and Districts provides you school-wide and classroom-wide messages, so all the staff in the school can communicate with families in their own languages, reporting and analytics so you can see how remote learning is going from an administrators’ perspective, and downloads/export reports on school/educator-parent engagement. Your entire school or district will be able to use TalkingPoints.
2. Webinars to get you started and making the most out of TalkingPoints
TalkingPoints will be providing webinars to get you started and to make the most out of TalkingPoints! We will share our expertise in family engagement and help you get started with TalkingPoints and how you can make the most of this remote learning period through partnering with families effectively to support learning at home.
Upcoming Webinars for Schools & Districts*:
- Getting Started for School & District Teacher Webinars every Wednesday at 11 am PT – May 20th, June 3rd, June 10th, June 17th, and June 24th
